How Two Entreprenistas Launched & Scaled Their Business on Shopify in 30 Days

Within 9 years, Stephanie Cartin and Courtney Spritzer have bolstered the presence of over 300 women-owned companies — all through social media strategy, platform management, influencer marketing, paid media and creative service. Given their success with Socialfly, Steph and Courtney recently decided to create a podcast called Entreprenistas, which provides a community to celebrate and share other women’s success stories, lessons, and business insights. Then, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Steph and Courtney invented their latest product, DigiCards: a set of colorful cards that help with communication during meetings and opportunities to collaborate.

When all businesses transitioned to remote work, Steph and Courtney noticed that Zoom meetings lacked opportunities for collaboration. They realized that poor internet connection or forgetting to turn on a microphone could interfere with the expression of people’s thoughts and ideas. With that realization, Steph and Courtney came up with what we now know as DigiCards.

Before introducing DigiCards to the Ecommerce market, Steph and Courtney tested out the product with their own team. After establishing its success, they officially launched the product using Shopify in 3 simple steps!

  1. Create an account through Shopify.
  2. Work with TVP NYC on merchandising and shipping for their product.
  3. Start social media accounts on Instagram and TikTok, collaborating with influencers to help drive more people to their site.

Shopify is a renowned global entrepreneurship company that can take small businesses to the next level. In one software tool, business owners can showcase their products, engage with customers, earn revenue, and manage operations. Because of this, Shopify has redefined what it means and requires to be an entrepreneur.  While Stephanie and Courtney have already had their fair share of entrepreneurial start ups, DigiCards was created in the peak of the pandemic, so doing business was fully virtual. As a result of using Shopify, Steph and Courtney were able to drive a lot more traffic to their online Digicards store.

Say goodbye to the old barriers to entry in Ecommerce, because with Shopify, there are none! Digitizing your small business is very important and Shopify can help. You’re able to establish a strong online presence, while still maintaining customer relationships. Not to mention saving a ton of time and money!
